ABOUT

History

Before legislation gave Pennsylvanian hemp growers the “green light” to thrive, we spent most of our time traveling the United States. Our goal was to learn all the collective knowledge there is to know about growing quality hemp. One place that truly inspired the values of Cannablyss is Eugene, Oregon. What stood out to us was their stance on how hemp could be used medicinally. They believe that the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and non-organic supplies is a direct contradiction to the benefits the plant could provide. Similarly, Cannablyss’ values are based on integrity, quality, and loyalty to our customers and partners.

Our Story

Canablyss was founded in 2019. Upon starting the company, we were motivated to simply find a better solution for some of our older family members stuck in the “medication hamster wheel”. We witness too often they get to the point where circuitous doctors and pharmaceuticals no longer give them the relief they desire. We cultivate to give an alternative to insurmountable co-pays and dead end treatments. We are ordinary folks who have made it our duty to help our local community and community at large reevaluate their current medical treatments and empower them to liberate themselves from their ailments. We have been studying the benefits of CBD for years and devoted to continuous learning. Now it is time to execute and share our findings.

Our Missions

We provide organic hemp in a variety of consumable products that provide benefits toward good health and wellness. Cannablyss CBD has partnered with several businesses based in Chester County including the prominent Chester County agriculture community (to do what?).

We are committed to developing and forging long lasting partnerships with our neighbors, that is why our printers, plumbers, garden products, local farmers, electricians, HVAC professionals, laborers and web hosting are all based out of the Chester County area.

FAQS

What is CBD?

CBD is short for Cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a cannabinoid compound found in a hemp plant.  Since CBD is non-psychoactive, people can get the medical benefits without the feeling of intoxication. Cannabis sativa has two primary classifications, hemp and marijuana. Despite the fact that they both contain CBD, there is a much higher percentage of CBD in hemp while maintaining a lower level of THC compared to marijuana.

How does CBD work?

The first thing to understand is that the human Endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a self regulating system of receptors located throughout the body. ECS Is involved in communicating with every system in the body including the central nervous system, immune system, organs and more.

Ideally if the ECS is working optimally your body will produce its own phytocompounds called endocannabinoids that nourish the ECS.

The focus of this system is supporting balance or homeostasis (the tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes) in the body.

Think of the Cannabinoids as messengers and the Cannabinoid receptors as someone waiting for your call to take action . When you make a call on your cellphone with little or know service, the person receiving the call will hear a distorted voice unable to understand your message. Cannabinoid receptors (CB receptors) are waiting for the call so it can carry out. Ingesting CBD will likely strengthen your ECS by boosting your signal strength.

Over the years scientists have learned that the ECS will also respond to external sources of cannabinoids, especially the phytocannabinoid cannabidiol. So ingesting CBD could elevate the function of your ECS.

Will CBD get me high?

Not to be confused with THC, CBD is the non-psychoactive compound found in Marijuana. Although CBD communicates with the CB1 receptors which primarily are found in the brain and central nervous system, it is not intoxicating.

What is the difference between CB1 and Cb2 receptors?

CB1 receptors are typically involved with the brain and central nervous system. They affect appetite, immune cells, motor activity, motor coordination, pain perception, short term memory, and thinking.

CB2 receptors are mostly found in organs and cells associated with the immune system. They affect tissue, bone, cardiovascular system, eyes, gut, immune system, kidneys, liver, pancreas, reproductive system, respiratory tract skeletal muscle, skin, and tumors.

Can I give CBD to my pet?

Because endocannabinoids exist in all mammals, CBD is not only a resource for humans but can also be used for pets for various reasons.
